The Alapocas Run State Park Engagement of Sara and Patrick

Photographing engagement sessions are some of the best experiences on our end. Not only do we get to learn more about the couple and who they are, we have a bit more creative freedom to try and nail spectacular images without the pressure of a wedding timeline and sometimes surprises happen.

For Sara and Patrick’s engagement shoot, we knew very little about them. We knew they love the outdoors and hiking, so we suggested Alapocas Run State Park located in Wilmington Delaware. Hiking for miles up and down the park, we started getting slightly lost for a moment, but ending up in a hidden watering hole where some of the best shots were taken.

During the session we found out Sara does some circus training and what followed was an amazing surprise.  To demonstrate, Sara hung upside down from one of the beams and kissed her soon to be husband.
